"Hot" Roland CY-12rc - What to do?

Postby toneking » Thu Jan 14, 2010 5:10 pm

I have a roland cy-12rc that I want to use with my megadrum build, and I plan to use it as a Hihat. The problem is that it´s a little hot, in other words after connecting the cy12 and I try to adjust the Highlevel setting, it easaily reaches the maximum level of 1023 with gain set at 0. Is there an easy way to lower the output of the cy12? I guess I have to connect a resistor on the cable but how?

I tried different values and 4.7k was the right one...
