Can I make the pcb larger???

Postby timekeeper » Fri Oct 08, 2010 7:39 pm

I would like to make the pcbs a little larger since I have very hard time with all the traces being so closely to one another (I am a big noob.... ). Can I do it with just a few clicks, or do I have to redraw the pcbs from the scratch???

Not possible with a few clicks. There is a couple of options. One is to take the KiCad design files and modify them (if you're new to this it might take a long time to accomplish plus it is easy to make a mistake), or you could do a new design from scratch (this will take even longer, but you will gain a lot of knowledge).

I would recommend using the given design. Just be careful and you will succeed.

I agree with Firelord. I just did both pc boards and if you go slow & double, triple & quadruple check yourself before each step, you can crank out usable boards.
