Problem with roland fd8

Postby danifc » Mon Nov 15, 2010 7:17 pm

Hi!
I have a problem with this hi hat pedal to configure with megadrum in MCT.
This pedal gives me open and close in MCt when i press and depress it,but there is no pad hit velocity in the monitor of MCT.
I have adjust high and low levels, but no effect on the pedal. The rest of the parameters set to default.
One thing more,in the other firmware i had,28/2, it works fine, but in the 27/8 gives me this problem.
i haven,t made any electronical modding to this pedal, because it worked fine,so..
Any suggestions?
Thanks!!!! ;)

What does "no pad hit velocity" mean?

Pad hit velocity is a part of the midi monitor in MCT.
When i hit other pad gives me a midi note, but when i press the pedal no midi note comes through

Are you talking about HiHat "chicks" and "splashes"?

Post a screenshot from MIDI-OX captured while pressing and depressing the pedal.
Show all HiHat pedal settings as seen in the MegaDrum menu, not in MCT.

I have made changes in superior drummer, assigning midi notes for closed and open pedal when i hit the hihat and press or depress the pedal,ok...but splashes and chicks doesn,t sound...
P.D!:i have made changes in the midi notes im the megadrum menu for splash and chick, and now it works..
Thanks for your time Smitri! :D
