Help MegaDrumFX java issues [RESOLVED]

I guess this is a longshot posting here, seeing as the forum looks kinda dead, but there's nowhere else to ask.

I just bought a used MegaDrum module (the 56 input version). I downloded and installed MegaDrumFX for Windows, after getting prompts about java-script i downloaded java 1.8 (also tried java development kit) and tried opening MegaDrumFX, but still keep getting the same errors "a Java Exception has Occured".

I've tried looking arounnd the forum to no avail, and whatever troubleshooting I find in the forum related to java usually requires you to have a degree in computer engineering or be a programmer just to understand what people are talking about.

So here I am with a fancypansy module and the worlds most silent drumkit staring back at me.

Any help is appreciated.

Now I just to get the thing to trigger correctly
