I cut the opening with my Dremel and a cutoff wheel. Works like a charm.

Hey Synthex, how do I read the side view of this diagram? I want to make standoffs inside of the front plate of my enclosure to mount the lcd display without having to drill the four holes through the faceplate. I'm trying to find the dimension from the front of the pcb to the front of the lcd screen. Thanks Kurt

On the sideview, left is back, right is the front. The plate should be on the inside so you could use double foam tape instead of screws to keep it in place. The dimension your looking for is marked 'T1' ~ 8.5 mm
