Anybody been sucessful with a VH-12?

I can't seem to get the VH-12 to work. It is always closed. I have tried the various settings and nothing works other than reverse but then it is always open. Anyway, if anybody has had luck please let me know what configuration you used. Thanks.

If you have a meter and can measure resistance between the sleeve and the ring and between the sleeve and the tip in both open and closed positions I will probably tell you what to do.

I'll do it soon. I have to borrow my dad's multimeter because I don't own one myself. Also the VH-12 has a "V-Link" between the top and bottom hats. It's connects with the standard cable. You want the resistance from the hihat controller input correct?

Yes, resistance on the hihat pedal controller's cable plug when not connected to MegaDrum.
