Hey dmitri, I was noticing that most cases were I had a crash with my megadrum I had made an adjustment in contrast, do you think that could be related?
PS-should I start a new post for this?

I don't know.

If you can give more clues, than yes, start a new thread.

OK then, I will start a new thread after I totally clean the board and rule out the flux issue, I have used 2 different usb cables and get the same crashes so I have ruled that out. I will start seeing if I can get a consistant crash happening and see if I can narrow the issue down so that I can give more detailed clues as to what is causing it. Thanks for help with this so far dmitri.

The contrast hardware control is fiendishly clever. (I think it is controlled by the speed that the LCD updates occur) - in any case I suggest you do not fiddle with the contrast while you have other issues to be resolved. Check for MIDI I/O in MIDI-OX as you do your testing, I mean:- you shouldn't say a bad display means megadrum has 'crashed'!

Thanks for the advice Ken, I wouldn't think that it is a display issue as everytime the "crash" happens I loose any configs that I have made but not saved unless you think the lcd is the cause of issue? It would be good to see what midi info is being set when the crash happens as the led flashes a signal. As I think a little more I may have set the autolevelhi maybe to high for my hihat pedal and it may have sent a midi signal while making other adjustments possibly creating some sort of configure error hense a reset.............In any event I need to pay close attention and try to sort out the source of the issue.
