how to set display brightness?

hi all, my megadrum end, I made the all in one v2.5 and the problem is the display brightness is very high, barely visible characters, I modified to remove the trim, the question is whether you can adjust the brightness from megadrum, greetings and thanks

Cannot comment on other board versions but those which published in
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=266Brightness is determined by R15 and R16.
Contrast is controlled by the voltage on pin 3 of P2 (LCD connector) and is controlled in firmware. Read

Why did you remove the trimpot? That board doesn't allow changing the contrast via menu buttons or MDM unless you look at the newer schematics and modify your board accordingly. I'd just solder a trimpot straight on to the LCD, it's not as if you're going to be constantly changing it.
