Hello,

I was playing and all of the sudden my megadrum 32 stopped communicating with my laptop. The red light on the device still turns on when I hit a pad so the signal is being sent to the megadrum. But when I open megadrum manager I am unable to set the midi ports, I always get a red error that says: midi init error

What can I do to fix this?

Yes, still not working,

Tried also connecting the megadrum to a different computer and the same error appears. I also tried with a different usb cable.

In megadrum manager I should be using the same in/out right? and choose megadrum usb midi?

The error happens when I try to open the midi port, it is: MIDI int error (appears on megadrum manager in red letters)

The laptop does not say anything when I connect/power up Megadrum, it used too but now it does n´t

I tried on pc and on a mac

What MIDI ports are available in MDM when MegaDrum is connected?
Does Windows Device Manager show MegaDrum (or USB Audio) in "Sound, Multimedia" devices list when MegaDrum is connected?

On pc the MIDI ports available in MDM are : Megadrum USB MIDI and MIDIIN (MegaDrum USB MIDI).

Yes, on Windows device manager it appears as Megadrum USB MIDI in "Sound, video and game controllers "
