Do I have a problem?

I have been fiddling around with my Megadrum for quite a few months now.
Have had problems with crashes probably caused by loading older configurations in newer firmware versions, and or the fridge which is connected to the same extension cord my drum equipment is connected to.
I have sorted most of the problems out, but what annoys me is the following;
When Megadrum is in VU display mode and I press left or right the display fills for a split second with up/down arrows, see picture below.
I have noticed this for the last 3 or 4 firmware versions.
Is this normal behavior
