It is correct. Are you sure MIDI recording is enabled in MIDI-OX (REC toggle switch at the bottom in the status bar)?

Yes it is enabled.

Now I got it to register something. This is what it looks like after one single hit on the snare pad.

The display in the Monitor Input window has a lot of data constantly scrolling, CC Foot controller, and something else but the text flies by so fast I can't see what it says...

You have created a loop. In MIDI-OX either don't use MIDI Out port or disconnect MegaDrum MIDI In and Out in View->Port Routings

So it started registering something without you changing anything?

I don't know what I changed. So I decided to uninstall and then re-install MIDI-OX to make sure anything I may have changed was reset to default.

I disabled the Megadrum MIDI Out, and now I can't see anything in the Monitor Output window when I strike a pad.

The data in the Monitor Input window flies by, like in the movie the Matrix, the text just flows by really fast. When I strike a pad, I can see some green text pops up, but I can't see what it says because the CC FOOT CONTROLLER text keeps on coming

Also, the red light next to the power switch on the Megadrum is glowing red all the time now. Even when I'm not doing anything.

Now I unplugged the Hi-hat and Hi-hat Controller from the Megadrum and the scrolling text stopped.

This is what MIDI-OX looks like after one single strike on the snare pad

If you won't be remembering what you do exactly it is very likely I won't be able to help.

It's logical since MIDI out is not enebled.

The data in the Monitor Input window flies by, like in the movie the Matrix, the text just flows by really fast. When I strike a pad, I can see some green text pops up, but I can't see what it says because the CC FOOT CONTROLLER text keeps on coming

Configure HiHat Pedal to stop CC messages from coming when the pedal is at rest.

Also, the red light next to the power switch on the Megadrum is glowing red all the time now. Even when I'm not doing anything.

MIDI LED indicates MIDI activity. CC messages are also MIDI messages.

Looks all right with "after hit" false triggering. You need to adjust Gain, Threshold, HiLvlAuto, HighLevel, Retrigger, DynLevel, DynTime to eliminate false triggering.

OK. I have the pads working OK. Far from good, dynamics are still all over the place and still no rimshots on ANY pad. But I guess I have to be satisfied with this. Thank you for the help.

If don't configure it properly to match your pads it will stay like this.

You don't have to, but it is up to you.

I'm very interested in learning more about how to achieve proper configuration?
