Trouble getting megadrum to connect to megadrum manager.

If by midi log you mean the front screen of megadrum where it shows activity, then yes it shows bars of activity as well as the red led light.

In that case, provided besides MDM other MIDI apps (soft synths, VST and etc) don't receive MIDI data from MegaDrum either, I can think of only two possibilities:

1. You have an app (or service) running on your PC which controls all MIDI ports thus preventing MDM from receiving MIDI data from MegaDrum.
2. There is an issue with the main board which breaks internal MIDI communication from Atmega to PIC.

I dont know how anything on the main board could be affected since the MD has always been racked and well taken care of. I have always had a good connection until I downloaded the most current MDM. Am I just stuck with a non working setup? Would I have to purchase another MD module from you if I wanted a working configuration?

Hi together,

unfortunately I have the same problem with my megadrum STM32F103RCT6 and positional Sensing Add on PCB. It ame fully assembled by dimitri.

Now my problem is that it is not connecting to megadrum software. Even firmware update is not possible because of the message "device not found". The megadrum itself work fine.

I tried on two different pcs, with same result. Megadrum USB port is shown in megadrum but software says "could not init"

Any ideas or some possible way to reset the hole thing?
