I'm sorry but I really don't have the time to make one - and I'd be missing a few components, otherwise I'd gladly help you out. I do have a few spare op-amps though, and if you want I could pop one in an envelope for you. The schematics might seem daunting, but it really is quite simple - the lines you see tell you what to connect where, and if you want I could also list the components for you when I get a chance. The only requirement is basic soldering skills.

Thanks or the offer ignotus! I have the soldering skills since I did solder my entire Synthex kit years ago, but the schematics and finding the right components is my problem. When I constructed my megaDRUM I got all the components and boards in a bundle from Synthex with big pictures of the board so I could mimic what I saw on the pictures :D

If you could help me with a list of the components and the board I need I might be able to find them on farnell.com? I might even need a shopping list with links to Farnell. I've spent 45 min trying to find components but there's so many to choose from....even trying to find only one of the components in the schematic is hard for me.....something like a capacitor 100nf whatever that means gives me 1000 different versions of the same thing and I have no clue of which one I should order

DIY force is strong in me :)

Thanks a lot! If you have the time I would be very glad to have links to the components. Have a nice weekend!

I did revive my old thread for this occasion now to not steer this thread too much off topic. Please go there to help out.

I've spent some time trying to track down the components I need to build the rectifier.

Utan PS board...helt rätt tänkt. ARM versionen kör skjortan av allt ... Speciellt 120 MHz versionen.

Hello,
Coming around to this thread trying to set up my new drum-tec diablolo 12" and Addictive Drums.
Have tried suggested values for drum-tec, also 1, 2 and 3 positions and diferent low and hi positional values, but always erratic CC values. Minscan up to 60, and 50.
I don´t have the addon card, so my question, since the manual says about must receive first wave as "negative", should the board solve the erratic problems?
Or maybe could be adjusted with other adjusments like the mesh tension, cone elevation..?
What I´m guessing is if I could get a decent result with this snare without the addon board or is imposible because of the negative first wave?

Thanks in advance.

A PS board will help the situation and make the signal better. The first half wave needs to be positive. If you have a pad which creates a negative first half wave I am guessing that you could try to switch polarity on the piezo e.g. Switch the cables between tip and sleeve. Most Roland equipment have the tip connected to the brass part of the piezo. I don't know if it will work - but you could try.

The PS function is not an exact science...but you should be able to gain some decent results in AD2 when doing PS and moving the hits over the mesh head.

Best regards

Thanks for the tip, I´ll try it, and rim piezo needs to have first wave positive aswell? o doesn´t matter?
Thanks in advance
