Some troubles w conection between my MD and MDM

Hi,

I finally construct my MD 3 days ago, and when i configure it, the MDM doesnt recognise my MD. The MDM doesnt show the firmware version and i cant upgrade my MD. In adicction, my MD dont show any menu when i press one button in VUmeter mode, only its change to the <Megadrum.info> screen with a two arrows (up and down) in bottom right zone on the LCD.


I configure the MDM well (i think):

- MIDI IN: Dispositivo USB (Megadrum)
- MIDI OUT: Dispositivo USB (Megadrum)
- no MIDI Threshold

Someone can post how to configure the MDM correctly?

I bought a ATMEGA 644 in november 2010, and my MD is a 32 inputs, 16 MHz.

From me? By default I load 20MHz firmware versions into Atmega644.

Yes, from you dmitri.

Now i can upgrade the MD via MDFUpgradeGUI and the firmware 20110330 for 16MHz ATMEGA 644, and works!

The menu works fine too. I welding bad two buttons =P.

Now i have other problem ... the VUmeter show some bars in high, and nothing is conected to the analog boards =S.

i will review the analog board once more time ...

vu meter high with no connections = short somewhere. Afer you find & fix the short, you may discover that the 4051 that had the short on it's input might be toast. Learned that the hard way...

almost forgot. high vu meter on far left upper row with no pedals can be caused by no hi hat pedal connected as well.

Yeah, solved!

The button isn't wiring well, i connected analog board reverse, and had two shorts.

Now MD works well at all!
