Hello.

I'm new with megadrum.
I just bought one last month, and wanna configure this to use with sensors...and trigger different things..not any percussion or drum.
So i need this gear not to work as a 2 channel hi hat (stereo) configuration..
i need all the 32 channels to responses with midi note, so i can trigger then all in ableton live..like if i have 32 mono triggers.

I've tried many different things..but every time i try to setup things in Megadrum Manager..when i try to send the information to Megadrum hardware it appears this message: "Sysex Timeouts".
So i think nothing has been changed in the hardware thats right ?

So what i do to stop this message..and to configure both of stereo channels to work like 2 individual (mono) triggers..and use all the potential of this 32 channels gear ??

How did you connect MegaDrum to a PC?
What OS do you use?
What MIDI In/Out ports you selected in MDM Options?

I Connect it with a usb cable. My OSX is the 10.8.3.
I tried different midi ports...but my problem doesn't get solved.

I am using this gear...but for me its like only 8 triggers works "like mono" for using it with ableton live.
The rest get rest get the same note..and i don't know how to changed it.

Did you install mmj as advised in http://www.megadrum.info/content/megadrum-manager ?

I just saw about the MMJ...so as advised i followed these step:
"To make mmj available to all Java applications simply drop both mmj.jar and libmmj.jnilib into /Library/Java/Extensions."

Hi. Let's do it in logical steps.

It looks like that you can Connect to your MD device using MegaDrum manager.

You have selected a megadrum based midi port (1or 2) in megadrum manager and clicked "open midi" in the main sceen.

Are you able to read all configuration (get all) from md to mdm in this step without getting a system timeout?

I am guessing you see problems when you have done changes in MDM and klick "send all".

A trick if you get system timeouts at this stage is to close midi...open it again and then try to save each pad as a separate config using "send" on each pad. Less data to transfer, less risks for system timeouts.

check this work around and see if this is working without and system timeout.

(I have seen problems with system timeouts on my systems in the past using the ATMega version of MD and too poor USB power from the PC. Cleared by using an external powered USB hub)

Check this first...then we are going to the basics to get the MD going in Ableton Live.

You helped me so much...i didn't knew about that buton open midi..that i had to press it...and now i send individual pads like you said me !

Now its all working with ableton live...
i can trigger and choose witch note i wanna trigger in the ableton drum rack.
