Hi, I have an old 56 input Megadrum with Atmega 644 that I try to get back into use...

As of now I dont have an megadrum manager that works with it, is there an archive of really old managers to download from (I think I found one from 2014, but it seems not to work with my firmware, 20110907)

I also tried to upgrade firmware (I found one from 20140809 that should work with mine, I guess...) with the oldest version of megadrum manager I found (one from 2014 i think) but whenever I press the downbutton to start the upgrade, and the LCD is supposed to show "startupdateonpc", the LCD on my megadrum greys/fades out and disapears, and the unit reboots...

Any hints on how to solve this?

I tried installing the latest firmware, 644_56_20140809, with the pc software above, but my problem is that my megadrum leaves the firmware screen as soon as I "press enter" for the programming to start.

I tried using both mdfwupdate and mdupdate, but no luck... my megadrum reboots as soon as I hit enter or presses "run megadrum update"...

... using megadrums own internal USB/midi interface.

Am I missing something?

Wich megadrum manager should I use with this firmware on osx?

Tried the last "megadrum manager fx" version but get "sysex version timeout", whatever iI do...

Do you get MIDI data from it when you hit pads?

Yes. Using usb connection.

Then it seems that either MDM FX is not configured to use right MIDI ports to communicate to MegaDrum or some other apps use the same ports at the same time.
Is anybody else having problems with Atmega644 and MDM FX?
