Hi, I am new here and are busy building my megadrum kit. I have a couple of questions, and hope that I can get some answers,

What Piezo do we use?? (external drive or selfdrive)

I see that on the diagram there is stereo jacks, is that specifically for dual zone?? or can one use only the "ring" and "earth" to conect to the piezo??

Leon, the self drive Piezo acts as a self driven buzzer so NO circuit is needed ti nake sound, only voltage: the self drive Piezo is NOT what you want. you need the External drive buzzer so you can us it as a input device.

The stereo jack’s are used for dual and triple zone inputs. You can split the dual into 2 mono pads or only use a single pad.

The piezo has a hot and a ground, if you see a third connection on the piezo that is a feedback function and you would not be using it.
