I think my MegaDRUM device performs better...

than me and my drummer skills. :-)

However - I am very satisfied with my converted Sonor drums, 6 cymbals, 3 BT-1 triggers, Arm based MegaDrum and having AD2 as the sound generator - I works extremely well on stage.

Background on the video: We was out performing this weekend and played live for an audience of about 300 people. The sound was tapped directly from our mixer- so it does not really tell you about how the sound for the audience was, but you will get a good glimpse!

Many thanks Airflamesred!

It is fun to gig the the MegaDrum...even if this video does not show any technical details. I promise there soon will be new videos about the setup!

Hi!

Here is a new shareable and likeable link to the clip. The sound is updated with some room background (the sound gets extremely dry directly from the mixer)

wow this is awesome. Did u achieve this playable latency with just the megadrum and computer or there are other cards involved? This video kinda answer my question. i wanted to know how reliable MD was in a live setting. like playing a concert or church service

Hi!

In this live performance i am using a MD (arm based v2), USB based 8 channel audio card from M-Audio (FastTrack ULtra 8R) and a MacBook Pro using Addictive Drums 2.

The MD is solid as a rock when everything is configured. I would estimate the latency on the sound card is about 1,3 ms in 96 kHz + the MD which has about 1,5 ms in latency. So all together about 3 ms. An e-drum module like the TD-30 delivers about 4,5 ms using the internal sounds. The most important when talking latency is get values below 10 ms for the whole chain. :-)

Best a Regards
