it has -.2 ms ms latency... yes you read right.. minus .2 ms .. it actually anticipates the hit so there is no latency!

I think its possible on triger side, to send signal before you hit

Well, you could sample the air pressure created by the stick before impact.

Its easier then you think, and its been done before. Kick with 2 beaters, one hits trigger before other one hits skin. Anyway, it can be improved.

I find having the drum track on the sequencer and I just play air drums then the problem of delay doesn't exist. It also improves the quality of my drumming.

My 2 cents:

If we were to decrease latency, then we would best sample the electromagnetic waves our brain sends in order to anticipate a few milliseconds before we actually hit the pad we intend to hit, thereby canceling out the latency introduced by electrical factors.

We would need a fairly good filter though as the 'bad thoughts' might introduce crosstalk ex: You're drumming live then some smart alec makes a comment about your drumming, then of course, you'd get distracted and your thought of hitting the guy might trigger some inputs instead...
