lost midi out

Help I have lost my midi out. I have midi by usb and midi in works but I cannot send midi out. Also the top left trigger bar is on all the time. Both problems should up at the same time. Any thoughts any one. Almost forgot, I have a Synthex 2.8 board.

The top leftmost VU meter represents the hi-hat pedal position and unless your hi-hat pedal is connected to MegaDrum and is in closed position the VU meter should show a solid box (hi-hat opened).

When I built the unit all functions worked. I did not use it for about 2 weeks when I went to use it the midi out jack now has no midi output. The midi in works just fine. I can send midi into the megadrum but I can only get midi out is by using the usb connection. I have tried recleaning the board and reseating the chips and checking joints still no go.

Broken connection somewhere along the path from Atmega pin 15 to pin 4 of MIDI out jack or from +5 to pin 5 of MIDI Out jack. Check continuity with a tester. Make sure your MIDI cable and the receiving MIDI In port are ok.
