OK, the drum sampler software I'm using is SuperdrumFX and I using it as a standalone program. Could this be my problem?? If someone got it to work, can I get som tips from you??

Did you download Savihost and follow the instructions on its website in order to use it as standalone?

Yes I have done that. And it is starting up, everything in the program itself works fine.

Can you hear sounds when you load them in SuperdrumFx and click on them? If so you're only a step away.

Plug in the usb of your MD, turn it on and open the "devices" tab in Savihost and in "midi input" choose "usb audio device" or whatever your MD shows up as. You should be set to go.

If you have further difficulties with this software I suggest you try their forums.

I just want to make sure, after I received the chip with the protected bootloader from Dmitri, do I still have to load the latest firmware via usb on to the chip??

The Atmega chips I send come pre-loaded with the latest firmware version at the time of postage. By the time it arrives it may not be the latest version already.

Hi everybody

After alot of stupid mistakes I have to say I got my Megadrum working..... Now I can concentrate on the fine tuning, I have quite alot of latency, so I have to sort that out now.

My megadrum is playing notes when the pad is hit, but no matter what I do I cant change to diffrent drum kits on my Drum Sampler. ( I tried Superdrumfx and Hydrogen) Is there something im missing??
