Seeking Info: Can Megadrum software be used with ANY passive

Hi All! First post! I'm Seeking Solutions\Options for my midi interface control which is a passive Alesis Trigger i/o unit. I was looking at D-Drums clone for their app, but that seems to be a dead end. I have a new in the box unit(old stock obviously) And we can't get Cubase 11 Elements via Superior Drummer2 to see the module. We have an indication the module is being triggered by our test pad, But BFD doesn't seem to acknowledge it. I was thinking that since these are just passive multiplexers, any similar app with the flexibility to add or modify the trigger mapping should work.... I'm not that experienced with E-drums but I know midi and PC interfaces. I have searched hi & low for BDF support but they only seem to cater to Mac users. Any input would be appreciated! THX

Any Drum trigger-to-MIDI interface, be it Alesis or MegaDrum, will work with any MIDI aware app, including BFD.

Cubase will pick up megadrum or that Alexis thing.
