Now I need to try that midi-ox method, but I'm not sure exactly what to do...
That thread says to add those 4 hex bytes to the .hex, and rename it .syx...
There's already some .syx files available on the website to download; are these different?
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to download the regular firmware, or the bootloader firmware...
clock2113 wrote:Upon pressing the down arrow on the megadrum, the MIDI activity LED lights up... when I send the sysex from megadrum, nothing changes; the light just stays on, and the LCD just says to send sysex now...
I also tried doing it at 16 and 24 mhz, using those firmwares... same thing.

-Set the output buffer to 60000
I changed it from the syx view window. I selected the sysex/configure menu and changed the delay from 60ms to 100ms in both boxes.

You set Output buffer Size to 60000 and not Num, didn't you?
Also try this as macca2004 did and apparently it helped:I changed it from the syx view window. I selected the sysex/configure menu and changed the delay from 60ms to 100ms in both boxes.
Did you try on another PC?
