DIY MIDI Controller?

Postby Thurston » Mon Jun 15, 2009 3:22 pm

Does anyone know of a DIY design for a MIDI controller with buttons and knobs and/or sliders? Could something like this somehow be integrated into Megadrum?

Thanks that looks like a cool site, but unfortunately I can't see any pics in the forum. Still waiting on my activation email to join the forum! Have you tried something like this dimitri?

No. In my opinion with the price of commercial MIDI controllers it doesn't look too tempting.

Estimate how much just pots, encoders and knobs will cost.

For what it's worth, there are some decent MIDI and OSC controllers for the iPhone/iPod touch, but that would only be of use if you already owned one of those devices...
