Firmware compatibility with megadrum 22-inputs

Postby st3rgios » Wed Jul 15, 2009 10:34 am

Hello to everyone,

I made megadrum about a year ago without the PIC18F2550. I'm using an Atmega 32 in 16MHz, 22 inputs version, and the firmware is "20080720". I'd like to update it to the new one, but i don't know if it would be compatible...

For my analogue board, i followed this schematic:

And for the input cable, i followed this schematic:

I'm comfused especialy with pin8 of the analogue connector, cause in the new schematic is the HiHat alternative tip, and in the one I used is the Aux2.
My digital board is the same with the one at the schematics page.

Do I have to build a new analogue board, or i'm ok with the one that i have?

You can use any latest firmware. The AltIn setting is ignored in the 22 inputs version.
